Utah permits same sex marriage.

The Ban on same sex marriage in Utah, United States has been removed by a Judge stating it is unconstitutional handing the victory to gay rights activist. This is a state where the Mormon Church is popularly known. US District Judge Robert Shelby an appointee by President Obama, ruling in a lawsuit brought by three gay couples, found that an amendment to the Utah Constitution defining marriage as exclusively between a man and a woman violated the rights of gay couples to due process and equal protection under the US Constitution.
